Prop Firm Drawdown Calculator
By Aiobot · Oct 16, 2026
A prop firm drawdown calculator turns a reference, a current figure, a day start, and an optional peak into money left under a daily loss and under a maximum loss. A static floor is reference minus maximum loss. A trailing floor is the peak you type minus that same maximum loss. Nothing on this page is a firm’s official percent. Guard, while Active, compares equity with limits you type and starts its day at broker-server midnight, not at your wall clock.
Loss-room worksheet
Type your own daily loss, maximum loss, and equity figures. No firm percent is filled in for you.
What this subtracts
Remaining daily room = daily limit − the drop from day-start to current (never below zero before that subtraction).
Static floor = reference − maximum loss. Distance = current − that floor.
Trailing floor = the peak you typed − maximum loss. Distance = current − that floor. This is a floating drop from that peak, not an end-of-day firm trail.
Leave the percent blank unless you want one. A percent you type is yours. It is not a default rule.
A money limit is filled, so the percent on that row is not used.
A money limit is filled, so the percent on that row is not used.
Distances use the equity figures you typed, including whatever floating loss is inside “current”.
Open loss is outside this arithmetic unless you already included it in the numbers.
- Drop since day start
- Remaining daily loss room
- Static floor
- Distance to the static floor
- Trailing floor
- Distance to the trailing floor

A worksheet for numbers you enter, not a firm rule and not a pass guarantee. Guard enforces limits you set in the EA, and only while Active. Broker-server midnight is not the firm clock. A floating drop from a peak is not an end-of-day trail. A total-loss cap is a fixed number you type. Max Daily Trades is a count, not a best-day rule. A challenge account and a funded account are two logins and two licenses.
What does a prop firm drawdown calculator show?
It shows how much room is left under a daily loss and under a maximum loss, in money, from figures you type. It does not log into a firm, does not know today’s PDF, and does not promise that a challenge will pass.
How do you calculate daily, static, and trailing drawdown?
- Type the reference the rule uses. That might be the starting balance, or the equity at the start of the firm’s day. The worksheet does not choose for you.
- Type the current equity or balance, and the figure at day start. Drop since day start is day start minus current, and it does not go below zero.
- Type the daily loss as money, or as a percent of the reference. If both are filled, the money figure wins. Leave the percent blank. This page does not insert a firm’s percent.
- Type the maximum loss the same way. The static floor is reference minus that maximum. If you also type a peak, the trailing floor is that peak minus the same maximum. It does not move down by itself; you type the peak.
Worked figures, not a firm rule: reference 100000, day start 100000, current 98000, peak 106000, maximum loss 5000. The trailing floor is 101000. The drop since day start is 2000. A daily loss of 5000 typed as money would leave 3000 of daily room. A static floor on the same maximum would be 95000.
Is the daily reset your local midnight?
No. Two clocks get confused.
The worksheet does not reset. You type today’s numbers.
Guard, while Active on a licensed real or prop account, starts its own day at midnight on the broker’s server (TimeCurrent truncated to the server day). That reset snapshots equity, not your phone’s timezone. A firm’s PDF may use another cutoff, an end-of-day balance, or a different server. Broker-server midnight is not automatically the firm’s clock. Read the current rules before you copy a number into Guard.
Does this replace the firm’s rule engine?
No. Guard enforces equity limits you type, and only while Active. On a demo account Guard stays locked. A real or prop login needs the offline key: demo versus live. The longer comparison of daily, maximum, and trailing rules is daily versus max drawdown. Sizing the next ticket from room you still have: XAUUSD lot size or the lot formula.
A consistency rule (one day’s profit as a share of total profit) is not this worksheet. A trade-count cap is Max Daily Trades, not a dollar floor.
Aiobot is not a signal service and does not guarantee a profit or a funded account.
