Demo versus live license
By Aiobot · Oct 6, 2026
On a broker demo account Aiobot runs without a license. A real, live, or prop-funded account needs a 24-letter A–Z/a–z key checked inside the EA. One purchase binds one MT5 login. The EA does not call Aiobot servers. You cannot swap the account yourself.
Does demo need a key?
No. Any MT5 demo account can run the public aiobot.ex5 without a license. Guard and Promax are there so you can rehearse limits. There is no demo time cap from Aiobot.
When is a license required?
Real, live, and prop-funded accounts. After purchase the license sits pending until you enter that MT5 login in the dashboard and confirm — that bind is irreversible on your side.
What does the key look like?
Twenty-four letters, A–Z and a–z only. Validation is inside the EA. MetaTrader still talks to the broker for prices, like any EA. Aiobot servers are not contacted for the key.
Can you move it to another account?
You cannot migrate it yourself. Open a support ticket; an admin may revoke a wrong bind. One license is exactly one MT5 login. Challenge and funded account are two licenses.
Install: Aiobot on MT5.
