Install Aiobot on MetaTrader 5

Q: What do you need?

Aiobot runs only on MetaTrader 5. There is no MT4 build. Platform comparison: MT5 versus MT4. What an EA is, versus signals: what is an Expert Advisor. You need the public aiobot.ex5 file from the Aiobot site, MT5 installed, and a chart you can attach an Expert Advisor to.

Q: How do you install the file?

Download aiobot.ex5 from the homepage download control. In MT5 choose File → Open Data Folder, then open MQL5 → Experts. Copy the file into that folder. Do not rename it to a random name if you want updates to match the site filename. In Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors and choose Refresh. Drag Aiobot onto a chart. Enable AutoTrading (the toolbar button must be green). Allow the EA in the chart’s Expert Advisors tab (Allow live trading / DLL settings as your broker build requires).

Q: Does a demo account need a license?

No. On a broker demo account the EA runs without a key. Guard and Promax are available so you can set limits and use the panel. A real, live, or prop-funded account needs the offline 24-character key bound to that exact MT5 login. Read demo versus live license.

Q: What should you configure first?

Set Guard limits from your rules or the prop PDF — Aiobot does not invent a strategy or entries. Leave Smart Mode off until you intend the rules to fire, then switch to Active. Promax lot size is a helper on the chart; you still place the entry. See how Guard works and how Promax works.

No. The steps above are for the desktop MetaTrader 5 terminal (File → Open Data Folder). The MetaTrader apps on a phone or tablet do not run Expert Advisors, so there is no mobile install of this .ex5. Use the desktop terminal.

The EA does not appear, or AutoTrading is grey
