How Aiobot Guard works

By Aiobot · Oct 6, 2026

Guard is the risk engine inside Aiobot. You arm five equity limits and, if you want, Max Daily Trades. Nothing fires until Smart Mode is Active. If a limit is hit, open positions and leftover orders close. Guard does not pick entries or promise profit.

Aiobot Guard risk layers on a MetaTrader 5 account

What is Guard?

Guard is the risk engine in the Aiobot Expert Advisor. It watches equity against limits you type in. It does not choose symbols, direction, or entries. That is still your setup, often with Promax as a chart helper.

Which layers exist?

Six switches, each with its own on/off — five read equity, one counts tickets:

  • Daily loss
  • Daily profit
  • Floating drawdown
  • Total profit
  • Total loss
  • Max Daily Trades (trade-count cap)

Example from the product page: 5% daily loss on a $100,000 account → equity $95,000 → close all and lock until broker-server midnight — only in Active.

Details: Max Daily Trades and the Guard term. Revenge and overtrading as a trader problem, not a seventh layer: revenge trading and overtrading.

What is Smart Mode?

Three states:

  • Off / Neutral — no monitoring
  • Lock — closes what is open and cancels pending orders, and keeps doing so
  • Active — rules enforced

Nothing in Guard runs until you put it on Active yourself.

When does the day reset?

Daily limits and the daily trade counter reset at broker server midnight, not your wall clock.

If you are copying numbers from a prop PDF, daily vs max vs trailing drawdown is a separate article — Guard only enforces the figures you type.

Aiobot is not a signal bot and does not guarantee results.
